Description
Forest service trails and roads in the Cascade mountains in the Lake Wenatchee, Entiat, and Chelan ranger districts. There are 75 miles of trail and 25 miles of forest service roads, all remote. Elevation gain and loss of 21,000 feet. Train for a fairly steep and difficult course with great scenery.

Way to tough it out- I can’t imagine doing as many 100s as you do! When I passed you the only zone I was in was sleep deprivation. I really wanted to just lay down and take a nap though in my case the hallucinations didn’t start until about an hour later. But I wasn’t very “with it”! Hope you have a great Bear- it was my first 100 and I’m looking forward to trying the new course in a year or two.

Phenomenal…I am in awe of your drive. You had many opportunities to quit or at least shut it down and walk. What a great example to us and your children of never quitting. I will never understand why you choose to put yourself in those positions, I still think therapy is in order, but you are an animal. (Once again, I am a sprinter, anything over 400 meters is nuts)

Davy I tried to run last year, was relegated to the kitchen washing dishes and flipping flapjacks and being humiliated with a set of rollers. I’ll be back attacking the trail next year. I already put my name on the list. Your runs and your narrative stimulate a person to get out there in all the dust and annoying mo/cy ruts and fill my shoes with blisters and my joints with pain as I try to accomplish what you did twice.
